What kind of drawings work best?

All of them! Bold lines and bright colors print beautifully, but pencil sketches, scribbles and "that's a dinosaur, Mom, obviously" all work too. If a photo looks too blurry or faint to print well, we'll email you before we print.

How do I take a good photo of the drawing?

Flat on a table, near a window, phone held straight above it. No shadows, no glare. Then crop the photo to a square around the drawing (your phone's photo editor does this in seconds). A JPG or PNG straight from your phone is perfect. See How it works for our photo guide.

Where does the hanging hole go on the ornament?

At the top center. Keep faces and favorite details in the middle and leave a little space at the top. We check every drawing before it prints and nudge it into place so the hole never lands on anything important.

Do you have a drawing template?

Yes! If your little artist is making a drawing especially for an ornament, download our free printable template. Draw inside the circle, crop the photo to the corner marks, and it fits perfectly.

Will you change or clean up the drawing?

Nope. Every wobbly line stays exactly where your artist put it. On hoodies, T-shirts and tote bags we remove the paper background so just the drawing is printed onto the fabric. On ornaments, mugs, tumblers, flasks and notebooks we print the whole drawing as you photographed it.

How long will my order take?

Every piece is made to order just for you. Production usually takes a few business days, then US delivery usually takes 2 to 5 business days. You'll get a tracking email as soon as it ships.

What's the last day to order for Christmas?

Order by Monday, December 7 for delivery before Christmas. After that, we'll still make it, but Santa can't promise when it lands.

Do you ship outside the US?

Right now we ship within the US only. More countries are on our wish list.

Can I return my order?

Because every piece is one of a kind and made from your child's art, we can't take returns for a change of mind. But if your order arrives damaged or misprinted, send us a photo within 14 days of delivery and we'll remake it for free. See our refund policy for details.

Do these make good gifts?

The best. Moms, dads, grandparents, aunties, godparents, teachers: nobody has ever said "oh no, not another drawing by my favorite kid." Order an extra for the grandparents while you're at it.

Who owns the artwork?

Your family does, always. By uploading, you confirm it's your child's drawing (or that you have permission to use it), and you let us print it for your order. We never use your child's art for anything else without asking you first.
